Likely SIM Questions in preparation for Security+ certification
Sim questions will basically tell you to apply rules to a firewall (i.e setting destination IP, source IP, port, protocol tcp/udp, and either allow or deny the traffic) <——-look up “configuring firewall rules.”
Sim question will be about something you are, something you have, and something you know.
Expect some diagrams, horrible box diagrams of network attacks. You would be asked to pick the right attack in a drop-down label. So you need to be familiar with the common attacks.
You might be asked to drag and drop security parameters (mantrap, CCTV, proximity cards, safe etc.), into a another horribly done diagram.
Finally, you will need to know how to read captured packet information…. AND which device is letting through traffic that it shouldn’t be. <—- Again, your Google browser should be your friend at this time.
